George T. Boozalis, M.D.
A native Texan, Dr. Boozalis grew up along the Texas Gulf coast in Lake Jackson, attending Texas A&M, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biochemistry in only three years. Dr. Boozalis received numerous awards, honors, fellowships, and scholarships during his collegiate career including the Gathright Academic Excellence Award, the Lechner Fellowship, the Freeman Scholarship, and selection to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Dr. Boozalis was one of the first graduates of A&M to be accepted at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.
